The Wesche Family founded Safeguard Innovations. Leanne and Dieter have been recognised for their entrepreneurial expertise and have been awarded with numerous accolades including the WA Small Business of the Year award at the Telstra Business Awards, National Winner of the MYOB Business Owner awards and the Small Business Development Corporation’s ‘Best Potential New Exporter’ in 2002. In the same year they were also named in the BRW Fast 100 as having the 66th fastest growing business in Australia and in 2007 Leanne was the winner of the 40 Under 40 Award.

Dieter Wesche

Business Development

Dieter Wesche is a qualified horticulturist with over twenty years experience in the fruit and vegetable industry. Dieter manages the International Business Development for Safeguard Innovations and within 6 months Safeguard Fruit & Veggie Wash has been sold internationally to countries including Singapore, Italy, Canada, Brunei, Mauritius, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, India and Indonesia.

Dieter attends many national and international trade shows each year to establish new business and keep head of market innovations and trends.

Jeff Wood

Director

Jeff Wood is a qualified Quantity Surveyor and has been a Development Manager and a owner Farmer prior to joining Safeguard Innovations. Jeff manages the office operations and new product development for both national and international business for Safeguard Innovations. New exciting products will be launched in the near future.

Jeff attends many national and international trade shows each year to establish new business and keep head of market innovations and trends.
